The revival of the house of Charles James may have just gotten a major boost, if a new “Page Six” report is to be believed. According to the column, Zac Posen, who’s never been one to shy away from a glamorous gown, has been tapped as a consultant for the resurrected brand — which Harvey Weinstein acquired the rights to last year. Per the report, Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman, her brother Edward Chapman, and co-designer Keren Craig will continue to be “creative consultants” to the brand. We reached out to a spokesperson for the Weinstein Company, who said, “Reports that Zac Posen has been chosen to join the creative team in relaunching the Charles James fashion brand are not confirmed. We have no further information at this time. The Weinstein Company has long enjoyed our tremendous relationship with Zac, and we greatly look forward to continuing to work with him as a judge on Project Runway.”
