A Good Vintage Ad: Mark Ruffalo Sprints Away From Acne in 1989

Today in impeccable gems from the distant past: A young Mark Ruffalo eagerly sells a magical acne-destroying product from Clearasil. Ruffalo recovered the short film “in the spirit of Throwback Thursday.” He is wearing a spotty vest; he apparently has a spotty face. Acne is personified as a villain from which one can physically run away. There’s drama, there’s a resolution. It’s a good advertisement.
