This season, the Cut ranks the street-style looks from the previous days at Fashion Week. We’ve selected these 29 images out of the many that photographer YoungJun Koo shot in Milan to bring you this list. Agree? Disagree? Chime in in the comments below.
When it comes to memorable runway shows, Milan has so far brought us Barbie’s dream world at Moschino, Burning Man luxury at Alberta Ferretti, and postapocalyptic DIY creations at Prada, to name a few. But street style is a whole other story. Now that the crowd has shifted from London, so, too, have the outfits: Looks in Milan play up the over-the-top energy of the city. There are the pajama-clad ladies like Anya Ziourova and Oksana On who make wearing head-to-toe silk jammies look ever so elegant, and then there was Anna Dello Russo, who wore a mash-up of Marc by Marc Jacobs, Chanel, Paula Cademartori, and Bernhard Willhelm for Camper that could be best described as colorful. Click ahead to see where she placed in the mix of things, and find out who was the surprising street-style winner from the first few days of Milan.
