Fashion's Night Out, that exhausting evening when crowds of people take to the streets of Soho to gawk at celebrities and jostle for free watered-down drinks, has been confirmed for the first night of New York Fashion Week: Thursday, September 6. (Organizers were waiting for the Milan Fashion Week debacle to be sorted out before naming the exact date.) So, get excited! Or make alternate plans that don't involve going anywhere near major retail areas.
