Since Carine Roitfeld was asked to resign from French Vogue, she's appeared in self-styled Barneys ads, been mobbed by photographers at fashion shows where she still sits in the front row, and is now on one of the new covers of i-D magazine. With work that has also included styling the Chanel campaign and V magazine, she's not hurting for jobs either. Add it all up and she's probably getting more exposure than ever before, so if she might have been trying to orchestrate a big fuck-you to Condé Nast, seems like it's working.
