Christian Siriano Declawed His Runway Heels for New Payless Collection
Christian Siriano debuted his spring 2010 shoe line for Payless at his runway show in September with talon-heeled footwear that sent one model nearly toppling. But Payless is toning down the claw shoes for the masses, according to a photograph of the spring samples, by simply plastering the blue-and-orange ocean-inspired fabric of the designer's collection onto plain pumps. The buckles, cutouts, platforms, and five-inch banana heels we saw at the show are missing, as are peep-toe booties and sequined Mary-Janes. [TheBradleyThomas/Flickr]
