The Gossip Girl headband trend is hot for spring 2009. Designers adorned loads of models with head wraps on New York runways — the perfect lazy do for those ever-present bad hair days. Diane Von Furstenberg transformed regular bands into floral wreaths, while Erin Fetherston matched her light, feminine collection with thick purple and white wraps fitted over ponytails. Lacoste rolled three colors into a striped pattern to create an Eastern-inspired springtime look, and Ralph Lauren added some Moroccan flavor to his evening gowns with golden embellished hair wraps.
